The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. While it was cheap at £50 and offered a quiet, clean, and comfortable stay, there were issues with the room size, old shower needing an upgrade, and noise from the kitchen fan throughout the night. The service was commendable with a very accommodating and helpful staff. However, the location, despite being close to Mote Park, suffered from thin walls causing noise disturbances and lacked a good view. The dining experience, though satisfactory, was a bit expensive for the options available. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was still decent considering the value for money.

The service, although polite and accommodating towards my wheelchair-bound son, had issues with a non-functional shower in the morning. The location was not as expected on the maps, and the hotel had a very English-only feel, which might make foreign tourists feel unwelcome. The dining experience was overpriced, especially for the English breakfast, but the Belgian waffles were enjoyable.
